A big THANK YOU!! to the 32 Interns and 7 Supervisors/Guests who attended
the Intern Forum.
For some it was a first time riding on BART and on a zero emission AC Transit fuel bus. We were the last group to get to see AC Transit's Oakland Energy Station before it underwent its scheduled change from a hydrogen fuel production station to a fuel center that will now receive hydrogen fuel from an outside source.
Jaimie Levin, the Director of the Program, was our host and we appreciate the time he took out of his schedule to talk with us. He’s passionate about his program and it’s nice to see someone love their work.
When the Certificates of Participation were presented, the recipients shared what was gained from their internship experience. The founders of the program and MTC staff found this part of the Forum especially rewarding because we could see and hear how each Intern was impacted. You all did a wonderful job and we’re so glad you came.
KUDOS to Bridget Carlson, Alysha Berrios-Strader, and Marisa Berrios-Strader for a top-notch PowerPoint presentation. You guys were entertaining and we could all tell you had a great internship experience. Thank you for updating the presentation with snippets of info. You three have upped the bar of expectation for next year’s interns!
